I decided last night that I had no intention of doing anything at all today, and that is exactly what I have done, bugger all! I woke up at 8.30am unfortunately my uncle was downstairs so I felt obliged to get up and go and make myself breakfast, just to make him think I was up!
Ian (my uncle uncle) left for work early at about 9.00am and I straight away put on the first dvd of The O.C. entire first series. I love Peter Gallagher, Adam Brody and Ben Mackenzie and that is what I have done so far today, I am currently watching episode 5.
I was feeling a little minging (can't spell) so decided to have a shower and do my hair after episode three, and to my surprise the phone rang whilst I was shampooing my hair! Why does that always happen.....so
i jumped out the shower, foam and water everywhere and answered the phone in the study. It was Judith Field from the archaeology company I have been working for begging me (yep I mean begging) to work for her for three weeks, starting a week on monday! Not wanting to sound depserate at all I told her I was available and will be quite happy to work for her, there are two sights one in the city (sydney) and one at Sydney uni, I am hoping I will go to the uni. I cannot describe how relieved I am...was beginning to think my luck was running out. What makes it better is the three weeks salary I will earn digging will be more than triple what I would have been earning doing a temping job. SO it makes no difference whether I had worked these last two week or not. I have also decided to do the crappy call-centre job, just for a week to make some extra money.
So enough about me and employment. I have been reading everybodys entries and have to admit I find them all highly amusing, I don't know how I managed before I was introduced to 'the journal' by Mrs Knott!
By the way i know you are all lusting after Mr Fox, here we are unfortunately into the last two episodes of the show. Can I just say I saw him first and he is now well and truely mine! But don't worry I won't give any of the plot away...did you know that the show is based on a book which apparently is in the garage downstairs, will have to fish it out. Still haven't finished Harry Potter yet, keep starting then getting interuppted or falling asleep.
Well not much else to tell you, ooh it is hot here today, went outside briefly to throw some rubbish in the bin and it is boiling. Not bad for winter, I guess I really should get out of bed!!
Off to a 'footy' rugby league match tomorrow, men in shorts looking rather fine, you guys would be very impressed! And it is not like football in the UK, you can almost touch the players they are so close. We are watching West Tigers against the Brisbane Bulldogs, haven't decided who to go for yet, will probably pick the team with the best looking players, although Adam (who we re going with is a huge Tigers fan) and with the connection by name only to Leicester tigers, I think it will probably be tigers.
Feel like a really big drinking session, anyone wish to join me? Now I know if I was in the UK I could have a weekend long drinking session with Jane and Rob, mind you my aunt, uncle and I have polished off a whole wine rack of red in the three weeks since we have been back. And needless to say I have been sleeping very well and always seem to have a headache!
WEll thats it for today, hope you are all well.
By the way I do want you to make comments if you want to, I just don't know how to take off the protection padlock thing, so no its not intentional if you thought it was!
Take care guys, speak to you later xx
